Spicy Tacos are a cheeky rock band from Bar Beach. Their influences include Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sublime. Look out for their first single 'School Sucks' releasing early '27


Glycerine are a high energy five-piece band of 13-year-old musicians from Hunter School of Performing Arts, brought together by a shared love of iconic 90s rock. Drawing inspiration from bands like Silverchair, Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam, they blend raw driven sounds with rhythmic grooves and big stage presence. The band performs a mix of covers and original material, delivering punchy, dynamic sets which resonate chemistry, confidence and a level of energy well beyond their years.Band members Lewis Pati, Dom McBlane, Noah Bevin, Jacob Bonham and Izzy Pranevicius are currently writing and developing original music and are preparing to record their first original track, Drown, in early 2026.


Desert Sons are a three-piece alternative rock / nu metal band made up of three brothers whose journey from England, through Qatar and now Australia has shaped both their name and their sound. Influenced by Chevelle, Deftones and the UK’s Bush and Royal Blood, they like to blend heavy riffs with atmospheric melodies. Having performed at local Battle of the Bands competitions and gigs across the Hunter in different band iterations, they’re excited to debut their new line-up as Desert Sons at this year’s festival while also beginning work on their first original songs.


Citruss is a high energy all girl band who formed at the beginning of 2025. Having released their debut single "Years From Now" in September last year the girls have since been in the studio working on their EP, hoping for a release later this year. Citruss has a killer original set with influences from artists such as The Grogans, Spacey Jane, Angie McMahon and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers. Having gigged throughout Newcastle and Sydney, Citruss loves playing to a live audience and can't wait for more.


cornea is a 3 piece emotional post hardcore outfit based on awabakal land in NSW Australia.

Poisoned Cherry is a high-energy three-piece rock band from Lake Macquarie, blending grunge, punk and hard rock into a sound that hits hard and leaves a mark.

Indelible are a four-piece sibling band from the Hunter Valley bringing an eclectic, high-energy mix of rock and roll, classic rock, punk and grunge. Known for their tight musicianship, natural stage chemistry and infectious energy, they deliver a set packed with familiar favourites that invites everyone to be part of the experience. For Indelible, it's simple: play great music, have fun, and leave every crowd with something to remember!


Anunnaki are an up and coming 4 piece hard hitting rock band from Newcastle. Since forming late last year, these school mates have played countless shows across the local scene, becoming known for their energetic stage presence and tight, high impact performances. Whilst performing a variety of classics from the likes of Silverchair, Alice in Chains and Foo Fighters, their original music blends genres of heavy rock and 90's grunge, shaping a unique style that feels both familiar yet unmistakably new. They have played at many well known venues around the local area such as King St Hotel, Islington Barracks and The Exchange, as well as placing as grand finalists in YouthRock 2026, making Anunnaki a fan favourite among the local music scene


Manticore is a 5-Piece Thrash band Formed by Guitarists Wylie Brock-Fenton (16) and James Godden (17) in late 2023 influenced by bands like Megadeth, Testament and Metallica, Since then with the addition of Ethan Newby (17) on Drums, Preston Albon (18) on Bass and Gus Bowditch (16) on Vocals they have taken over the metal scene in Newcastle with their Debut EP, “Gone Postal”


Tyde is a local young gun, fresh to the live music scene. At 13 years old, his performances are full of energy and his voice surprisingly powerful beyond his years.
A multi instrumentalist performing originals and covers he gives his own flavour to. With his music inspired by artists including Zach Bryan, Ed Sheeran, Teddy Swims, Xavier Rudd, Foo Fighters and Vance Joy.
